Browse the exhibited photographs by Alexis Rodriguez-Duarte featuring Cuba and its musicians. At the age of 10, he was given his first camera by his grandfather, which sparked his interest in photography. Today, his work appears in The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Town & Country, and Harper’s Bazaar, among others.
Grammy Nominated Cuban Pianist
Join us for the second part of the evening – a private concert by Grammy-nominated Cuban jazz pianist Alfredo Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez fled Cuba for Los Angeles six years ago to chase his dream of becoming a successful musician. He came with no more than the clothes on his back, his music sheets and a commitment from his mentor, Quincy Jones, that they would make music together.
